'Cheers' director James Burrows dies at 85

  Legendary director James Burrows has died, his agent confirmed to ABC News on Friday. He was 85. Burrows is known for directing some of the most iconic shows on television from "Cheers" and "Taxi" to "Will & Grace" and "Frasier." Throughout his illustrious career, Burrows has won 11 Emmys and five Directors Guild of America Awards.  "Jimmy was the greatest comedic television director in the history of the medium," his agent Rick Rosen said in a statement. "He directed the most iconic, defining shows of generations. Always a gentleman, it was an absolute honor to represent him." The Directors Guild of America also honored Burrows in 2015 with a lifetime achievement award. US defeats Australia 2-0 in 2nd World Cup win, securing spot in knockout round

  The U.S. men's soccer team defeated Australia 2-0 on Friday, in its second winning World Cup match, securing a spot in the knockout round. Friday's win in Seattle comes after a dominant 4-1 victory over Paraguay last week that earned widespread praise and attention for the team's performance on the pitch.  The U.S. men's team has not won back-to-back games at a World Cup since the first tournament in 1930, according to FIFA . U.S. star player Christian Pulisic missed Friday's match because of a calf injury and was replaced by Ricardo Pepi in the starting lineup. According to ESPN, Pulisic's status had been uncertain since coming out of the team's matchup with Paraguay. World's most luxurious plane': Trump unveils Qatari-donated 747 Air Force One

  President Donald Trump on Friday unveiled the Air Force One 747 that was donated to the Defense Department by the Qatari royal family. At an event at Joint Base Andrews, Trump descended the stairs of the newly outfitted jet to Lee Greenwood's "God Bless the USA." He claimed the jet is "virtually double in size" to the Boeing VC-25As that have served as the presidential plane since 1990.  The aircraft will serve as a "bridge" Air Force One until the two new ones being built by Boeing will be ready sometime in 2028.  "This is considered the world's most luxurious plane. When it was built, it was built at a level that will probably never be seen again," Trump said of the jet, which is approximately 14 years old. The Trump administration accepted the jet from the Qatari royal family last July. "Baby, I'm yours," Hathaway wrote in the caption of the video, set to the 1965 song of the same name by Barbara Lewis. Hathaway's Instagram post amassed more than 800,000 likes in just over 30 minutes, and the comments section was immediately flooded with congratulatory messages and well-wishes from friends and fans alike.   The man arrested and charged after a 3-year-old boy wound up in a crocodile enclosure at a British zoo was released on bail Friday as the investigation continues, police said. The unidentified 30-year-old suspect from Norfolk was released after investigators said he "was assessed as unfit for police interview," according to the Cambridgeshire Constabulary. The incident occurred on Thursday afternoon at Johnsons of Old Hurst, a family-run farm and zoo located in Huntingdon in Cambridgeshire, when the unidentified boy "ended up in the crocodile enclosure," police said. FBI offers $25,000 reward for arrest in Kansas City interstate shootings

  The FBI said it's offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect in a string of shootings in Kansas City, Missouri. Oscar Sanchez-Munoz, 22, is not only the suspect in Tuesday's five shootings, but he is also wanted for allegedly shooting at a car days earlier in Wyandotte County, Kansas, the FBI said. On June 11, an adult and a child were driving in Wyandotte County when their car was struck by gunfire, police said. Then on Tuesday evening, five shooting incidents -- including one that was deadly -- unfolded in close succession from west to east along the Interstate 70 area, according to Kansas City, Missouri, Police Chief Stacey Graves.
